Clarnico Quay on Site

CSA are working alongside Makeshift and the design team on this meanwhile space project which will transform a temporarily vacant 6,110 sqm site on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park into a cluster of workspaces. The 5 new steel framed buildings will provide opportunities for small businesses, artists and makers, including community event space, and food, drink and retail markets. It will also include public indoor and outdoor spaces and communal facilities for local people to use and enjoy. This project is due to complete in May 2020.

Shop Direct at East Midlands Gateway reaches PC

CSA acted as the owners and tenants representative for Shop Directs new 897,000sq ft fulfilment centre at the East Midlands Gateway. The development consists of a 552,000sq ft automated fulfilment centre with 75 docks and 345,000sq ft of internal mezzanines. The scheme required close coordination of the automation and fit out requirements with substantial tenants enhancements to the warehouse area including lighting, heating and sprinkler installations being incorporated during the contract period.

Winner at The Logistics Awards

We are delighted to reveal that our project with Decathlon at Brackmills Point won the prestigious New Facility (over 150,000sq ft) Award at last nights Logistics Awards. We were appointed as the Fund Representative agreeing base and tenant enhancement specifications for the works with the Developer, providing construction advice during AFL negotiatons and monitoring the works during the construction and defects period.

WiP -Best of the Best Awards

We are delighted to announce the winner of the Best of the Best Student Awards was Eunice John from our sponsored region. Eunice is currently studying Architectural Technology at Leeds Beckett University, she was described by the judges as being “very grounded,  genuine, a very warm individual with a can-do attitude and will make an amazing ambassador for women in property and construction. We would like to congratulate all those that took part in the competition this year, just to be nominated is a huge achievement and we have no doubt that all those nominated have a very bright future.

Yorkshire & North East Student Awards

Women in Property Regional Student Awards

We are delighted to announce the winners of the Women in Property Yorkshire & North East Student Awards 2019 are Eunice John  studying Architectural Technology at Leeds Beckett University and Weronika Pawlowska studying Civil Engineering at the University of Sheffield. Good luck to Eunice and Weronika when they go before the judging panel on 18th September at the National Final at Claridges in London. As a company we are proud to be regional sponsors of this event for the third year running and we consider the annual national Women in Property student competition continues to offer an ideal opportunity for women at the start of their careers in the built environment to showcase their abilities and also share their perspectives on an industry that they have chosen to enter. The quality of the presentations from the successful nominees were both interesting and inspiring and we hope that the experience for all the candidates was positive.

Another PC….

Practical completion achieved for the speculative 31,170ft2 industrial unit for Standard Life at Suttons Park Avenue. The unit includes a 27,090ft2 ground floor warehouse facility with ancillary first floor offices of 4,080ft2. External works to the site included landscaping and associated drainage and main services works.

PC achieved for Fabrick

Practical Completion achieved for Fabrick in Cheadle Hulme.  A further addition to Inspired Asset Management’s portfolio, this office to residential Permitted Development conversion has created 184 apartments and amenity space. A fulfilling achievement for all project team members involved. On to the next project….
