Annual Christmas Party

The annual Christmas Party was held in the Judges Chambers at Brown’s Restaurant in Covent Garden. This was a change of venue from recent years but certain members of staff enjoyed ‘acting the judge’ for an afternoon! Over 40 staff managed to attend and in addition to the usual dinner and games there was an auction of unwanted Secret Santa presents. The auction together with donations raised over £600 for a local hospice.

100 Property Club Christmas Dinner

Christopher Smith Associates attended this prestigious annual event at the Intercontinental Hotel in London. This year the after dinner speech was given by a very topical Max Clifford who entertained the guests with the tale of his success from being sacked from his first job in a department store to breaking many of the front page stories in the British Media. He also invited several clients as guests which made for a very exciting drinks reception! On a more serious note the 100 Property Club aimed to raise £30,000 from this event for the Same Beare Hospice in Weybridge. The Hospice provide counselling for bereaved children to provide immediate assistance and have recently used their expertise to produce a DVD as part of a teaching package which they hope to roll out to all schools in Surrey. This would enable all teachers in these schools to be properly equipped to deal with these vulnerable children.  The £30,000 hopefully raised by this event is the amount to produce the DVD training package to go to all schools in Surrey.
