Spooktacular Charity Day
The hallowed halls of Christopher Smith Associates were decorated and the Witches 3 carved up some wonderful pumpkins and conjured up spooky surprises throughout the day. Thank you to everyone that took part in what was a brilliantly fun day – in total we have raised £436.21 so far with more donations coming in. All money raised has been donated to the “The Yvonne Rogers Breath of Life Fund” which is to raise money in aid of the British Lung Foundation (registered charity no: 326730 England & Wales, SC 038415 Scotland). Trevor Rogers worked at Christopher Smith Associates for many years before retiring to look after his wife Yvonne when her condition worsened. Yvonne was one of those very special people with a big kind heart, she sadly passed away last December of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and Trevor has set up this fund on the Much Loved website in her memory to raise money for the British Lung Foundation. Details of the fund set up by Trevor can be found at http://yvonne.rogers.muchloved.com/ and for further information on the British Lung Foundation please visit http://breathoflife.blf.org.uk/g_visit.aspx.
